Welcome to the inspiring new WYIC Holistic Transformation Blog!
There has been many crazy months to get to the point were I am today, and I am glad to be able to take "What's Your I Can?" an empowerment concept and watch how it has developed into a place of reclaiming your life. While WYIC Holistic Transformation was only thought within the last year, What's Your I Can? story goes back a bit further. Let's return to 2016...
Where it all began
January of 2016, after making a 14 hours plus bus ride from Alabama December 19, 2015y , my children and I found ourselves living in a women's shelter. This would be the time another reality check would set in, we are homeless and I felt to helpless but still confident in knowing that I was still in charge of changing not only my story, but my children's story. One day, after seeing my children off to school, all the feels of what we were experiencing began to settle in. That's when the tears started pouring and my heart began to ache because where I was didn't align with my vision. I did what I knew to do, and that was fall on my face and ask God for strength, direction, and clarity. I then heard within," I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I ignored it because it sounded so redundant and religious. I heard it again, but this time I was asked, "Kristy, What's Your I Can?" This self-discovery, transformative perspective gave me a complete paradigm shift. One that made me listen more closely. As I began to respond to the question, understanding I had the power to transform my life, What's Your I Can? became my daily affirmations, mantra and the tool I use to filter those limiting beliefs and reclaim my life of abundance.
Fast Forward to 2023, WYIC blog is dedicated to helping every reader, change their story, transform their life, and live their utopia.
Which brings us to...
WYIC Holistic Transformation
As I continued to be lead by, WYIC, I discovered this was more than, uncovering my I Can as it relates to business, purpose, and family. It effected the way I ate (nutrition), how I interpreted and responded in my emotions, my relationship with my finances, social awareness, how I parented, and my relationship with Christ (spiritual). It has become an holistic approach to transforming lives as a coach, mentor, personal chef, and transformative speaker. I began to see by asking the right question would lead to high performance and maximizing my life.
I continued to dig into what a high-performance, transformative lifestyle would look like for a BIPOC single mom. I self-coached, myself. I shared my journey with family and friends on and off Facebook, for accountability, and I kept my face before God through fasting and praying to make sure this journey was one of real substance that wouldn't tarnish. The more I did a deep-dive into my life, I uncovered rigid beliefs, unhealthy traits, and yes, some toxic behaviors that were in my blind-spot. Blind-spots which were revealed by my children sharing with me how the impact my words or actions have had on them to associates sharing with me those areas I couldn't see. Another way these blind-spots spoke was in how my body felt. My body would tell me my lack of boundaries that brought in unhealthy relationships or where I was unhealthy, overly worked to where I encountered near head on collisions because I was too tired to focus, or even headaches that meant I stressed over situations that was beyond my control and those stressors turned into me verbalizing hurtful words.
WYIC Holistic Transformation is a continual process that can be done 1:1 or Group and even tailored to empower individuals to transform their own lives.
