As we reflect on the blessings in our lives, let us remember the words of Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This month, let's use this powerful truth to guide us on a journey of growth and empowerment.

July: A Time for Reflection and Renewed Faith

July is often called the "January of summer." It's a perfect time to reset your goals and embrace the vibrant energy of the season. But more importantly, July offers a chance to reflect on your faith and recommit to living a life that glorifies God.

The WYIC Framework: A Spiritual Guide

The WYIC Framework can be a powerful tool to help you achieve spiritual growth and fulfillment:

⛪️ Wonder: Explore the wonders of God's creation and the unique talents He has bestowed upon you.

⛪️ Yield: When challenges arise, view them as opportunities to deepen your faith and trust in God's plan.

⛪️ Inventory: Celebrate your strengths and the gifts God has given you to serve Him and others.

⛪️ Capability: Set goals aligned with your faith. Perhaps you want to dedicate more time to prayer and scripture study, or maybe you're yearning to share your faith with others. Whatever your goals, take action to live a life that brings glory to God.

A Powerful Reminder: Celebrating Faith with Family

This year was extra special because it was the first time in a long time that I celebrated under one roof (city, state, and home) with all my siblings, my sons, nieces, nephews, and of course, my wonderful mother! It was a complete surprise – I was actually getting ready for a morning run and writing this email when I got a message around 7 am outlining the whole plan. Looking back, I’m so happy those plans were interrupted! The entire day was filled with healing and joy that comes simply from being surrounded by family. My mom took charge of the shopping and came home with a feast, while everyone else pitched in – my teens helped unload groceries, my siblings set up entertainment, and there were delicious options for everyone, including my vegan choices! We enjoyed a movie marathon, from Godzilla vs. King Kong (which, by the way, was a five-star film!) to ending the night with a K-Drama series. A few of us gathered outside for the fireworks display, soaking in the shared experience, and finally retreated home feeling full of food, love, and connection. This Independence Day was a powerful reminder of the importance of family and community. It left me feeling incredibly grateful for the blessings in my life, spiritual and physical.
